Someone turned 27 dollars into 12.2 million dollars on paper — and still cannot touch a cent.
A post going around on X tells the story: they bought 2.5 billion $PEPE for 27 dollars, then got blacklisted 8 minutes later. The wallet still shows 12.2 million dollars, but the tokens cannot move.
That is the part people forget. A price on screen is not the same as being able to sell. If the exit is blocked, the gain is just a number staring back at you.
$PEPE is now at 0.00000439, and the chart is in the red. So even the paper value is sliding while the wallet stays stuck.
Plain lesson: check whether you can actually sell before you get excited about a big gain. Would you still buy a coin if you knew the sell button might not work?
