Memecoin investor Murad Mahmudov confirmed that $81 million in unrealized gains had been erased during a TOKEN2049 panel in Singapore on Oct. 7. Murad said the reversal did not concern him because he expected the wallets eventually to reach billions in value. Murad said his targets exceeded 2025 levels by enough to justify holding for another six, seven or eight years. Murad's expectation does not establish that the wallets will reach billions or provide a timetable for recovering the unrealized gains.
