President Trump called for a boycott of the WNBA over players leaving the court during the national anthem.
"They leave the court when the national anthem is played. What's that all about?" Trump said, drawing parallels to NFL protests that ended after viewership dropped.
"I think you should do the same thing with women's basketball," he added.
The comments come as the league faces scrutiny over anthem protests, though the WNBA's smaller audience raises questions about the practical impact of any boycott effort.
