Claim your FIO Handle without leaving Atom Wallets

FIO Handle registration is now live, completing the integration we announced earlier this year.

When Atom Wallets integrated FIO Protocol, users could immediately send crypto to any FIO Handle instead of a long blockchain address. We said handle registration was coming soon.

It is here. Atom Wallets users can now create their own FIO Handle directly inside the app, on the @atom domain, and map it to every blockchain address they hold.

One name. Every supported chain. Never copy an address again.

What’s New: Register Your Own Handle In-App

Registration used to mean leaving your wallet. Now it does not.

Inside Atom Wallets you can claim a personalized handle such as yourname@atom, branded in-app as your Atom Handle and powered by FIO Protocol. Once it is yours, it becomes the single address you share with anyone, on any supported chain.

Your handle can map simultaneously to:

  • Your Bitcoin address

  • Your Ethereum address

  • Your Solana address

  • Your TRON address

  • Any other blockchain address you use

Whichever asset someone sends, FIO resolves it to the right address on the right chain. The person sending never sees a 42-character string, and neither do you.

Because FIO Handles are decentralized Web3 identities, your handle is portable, interoperable, and owned by you. It is not an account with Atom Wallets that you lose if you switch apps. It is yours.

Already Live: Sending to Any FIO Handle

Registration joins the capability Atom Wallets shipped first:

  • No more copy-paste anxiety. Enter a handle like alice@atom in the recipient field and the protocol resolves the correct blockchain address behind the scenes.

  • Cross-chain compatibility. Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, or any other supported token routes to the right address on the right chain.

  • Error-free transactions. One mistyped character in an address is irreversible. A handle removes that risk entirely.

Together, the two halves make the loop complete: you can now both receive at your own handle and send to anyone else’s, without an address ever entering the picture.

How to Claim Yours

  1. Open Atom Wallets and go to the Atom Handle section.

  2. Choose the handle you want on the @atom domain.

  3. Confirm registration.

  4. Share yourname@atom instead of your addresses.

What is FIO Protocol?

FIO (Foundation for Interwallet Operability) Protocol replaces complex public addresses with easy-to-remember, human-readable handles. Think of it as the username for your entire crypto portfolio, across every supported blockchain.

Instead of sharing an address like 0xAb5801a7D398351b8bE11C439e05C5B3259aeC9B, you share yourname@atom.

About FIO Protocol

FIO, the Foundation for Interwallet Operability, is a decentralized consortium supporting the development, integration, and promotion of the FIO Protocol. Built on FIO Chain, a dPoS blockchain, it is an open-source, decentralized usability layer that works across all blockchains. FIO Protocol uses human-readable Handles to replace the complexity, risk, and inconvenience of blockchain-based transactions. The FIO Token ($FIO) powers transactions and incentivizes network participants.
