Aptos announced that an encrypted mempool is now live on the Aptos mainnet. Users can opt in for each transaction, keeping pending transactions encrypted until their block is finalized. The functions called and input parameters remain private until execution, while the sender and gas fees remain visible. The feature reduces the risk of maximal extractable value (MEV) attacks and is designed for institutions, traders and AI agents.
