Whales Just Scooped Up 86,702 $BTC in Three Weeks 🐋 According to Santiment, wallets holding between 10 and 10,000 BTC added 86,702 BTC over the last three weeks. Their combined holdings are now at the highest level since April 23. At the same time, the smallest wallets, with less than 0.01 BTC, have been taking profits. Santiment notes that big wallets have historically moved closely with Bitcoin's price, while the smallest ones often move the opposite way. There's another interesting signal. On Monday, October 5, 24,073 $BTC left exchanges in a single day, the biggest net outflow since March 1. Only about 6.5% of all Bitcoin is now sitting on exchanges. Coins leaving exchanges usually go into long-term storage, so fewer of them are ready to be sold right away. If demand holds, that can push the price up. Bitcoin is trading around $84,000 right now, and Santiment thinks a move above $90,000 is becoming more and more realistic in the short term. Of course, outflows on their own don't guarantee growth, but whales buying while exchanges empty out looks like a healthy setup to me.
