He says we should not panic and move funds today. But we should take the risk seriously.
The threat model is simple. AI is getting better at math. Fast.
If AI can do 50 years of math in 2 years, then things we think are safe might not be. Lattices. ML-DSA. FHE. Even elliptic curves could fall faster than expected.
His advice is clear. Hash based is better than lattice based. Keep funds in fresh addresses if you can. But be careful with migrations.
He also said he has lost more money in botched migrations than in all hacks combined.
That last part hit hard.
