Samsung is bringing USDC transfers directly into Samsung Wallet for eligible U.S. Galaxy users in the last week of October.
About 82 million compatible Galaxy devices are included in the rollout, giving users a way to transfer USDC to supported wallets without Samsung charging a transfer fee.
Users will access the service through $SOL and $SUI infrastructure without needing another crypto app or having to manage private keys themselves.
Samsung Wallet will also allow eligible users to send USDC to qualifying bank accounts in more than 60 countries, with recipients receiving local currency.
Bastion will provide the stablecoin payment infrastructure, while Coinbase will handle custody through Coinbase Prime.
Samsung says future plans could include stablecoin payments at online and physical stores, with expansion into more markets depending on local regulations.
