Why Did $MET Jump 47%? #Meteora gained approximately 47% in 24 hours, while trading volume climbed to nearly $247 million almost equal to the token’s entire circulating market capitalization. The immediate trigger appears to be exchange campaign incentives combined with aggressive volume expansion. However, unlike many low-cap rallies, Meteora also has measurable protocol fundamentals behind the move. Meteora is one of Solana’s core liquidity platforms. Its DLMM, DAMM and Dynamic Bonding Curve products support trading, liquidity provision and token launches across the ecosystem. The protocol currently holds approximately $313 million in TVL and processed about $6.9 billion in DEX volume over the last 30 days. During the same period, it generated roughly $34 million in fees and $4.1 million in protocol revenue. This makes the rally more interesting than a purely speculative pump. Meteora has real activity, real fees and a history of using protocol funds for $MET buybacks. But revenue should not be confused with automatic holder yield. Reported holder revenue over the last 30 days remains zero, meaning the strength of the token-value connection still depends on future buybacks, staking mechanisms and governance decisions. Dilution is another risk. Only around 56% of the maximum supply is unlocked, with the next release scheduled for October 23. The rally may be supported by real fundamentals, but after a 47% daily move and a near-100% volume-to-market-cap ratio, short-term overheating is difficult to ignore. The next confirmation would be sustained DEX activity, continued revenue growth and transparent value accrual to $MET after campaign-driven demand fades. Research by #WhyNot Research.
