The Ethereum Economic Zone ran an atomic L1-to-L2 transaction on mainnet: both layers succeed together or the whole call reverts. Small test, first of its kind in live blocks.
Sepolia also activated Glamsterdam and is pushing blocks toward a 200M gas limit, over 3x mainnet, with enshrined proposer-builder separation in the mix. Still a testnet trial.
