During the recent Annual Fintech Conference hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Cosmos CCO Eran Barak @eranbarak was in attendance and shared several primary observations from the event.

One major point of discussion was the robust backing for utilizing tokenized deposits within domestic payments and interbank settlements. In addition, attendees viewed stablecoins and tokenized deposits as funding and payment tools that perfectly complement one another.

Even with this progress, achieving interoperability is still an open issue. Moving assets reliably across different chains and networks continues to pose a significant hurdle. As various institutions focus on constructing their independent digital ledgers, it is vital for these distinct systems to interact effectively, avoiding the need to force all users onto a solitary network.
