Altcoin volume running at nearly 4x Bitcoin’s looks like an early rotation signal worth watching closely. The strongest part of this move is the breadth behind it. Around 72.5% of tracked altcoins recently outperformed $BTC , roughly 87% of Binance-listed alts traded above their 200-day moving averages, and the Altcoin Season Index climbed from around 33 to the low 60s. That combination shows capital moving further across the market and traders taking more risk outside Bitcoin. The structure also looks interesting because altcoin perpetual open interest has stayed relatively calm compared with previous speculative peaks. That points to a rotation driven more by spot activity than heavy leverage. For me, the next confirmation comes from three things: altcoin breadth, Bitcoin dominance, and leverage. If breadth keeps expanding while $BTC dominance stays soft, the case for an early altseason becomes much stronger. If Bitcoin regains dominance while altcoin breadth cools, capital could rotate back toward $BTC . The 4x volume ratio already tells us one important thing: Market attention is spreading beyond Bitcoin. Now the question is whether this rotation has enough strength to become a full altseason.
