Africa just got its first bank-backed crypto custody service.

South Africa’s #Absa has launched institutional digital-asset custody for asset managers, financial institutions and corporates.

The service currently supports $BTC , $XRP , $ETH and USDC.

Absa plans to expand into other African markets as regulations allow.

Bank-grade custody is becoming another entry point for traditional finance into digital assets.
