Most traders think they exit "too early".

90% of the time they're right. Could've made more if they held.

But leaving money on the table isn't the real issue.

It's HOW you define "too early":

(1) Exiting before your rules said to
That's a mistake. Figure out what triggered you and fix your reaction.

(2) Following your rules but price kept pumping
This is NOT a mistake. You had a system, you followed it, you won.

We don't optimize for 1 trade. We optimize for 100s of trades.

The real trap is getting stuck in "I should've made more" and then randomly extending targets or FOMOing into new positions.

Instead: Keep your rules consistent for 30 trades. Then review your journal.

If extending targets would've made you more money over those 30 trades, adjust.

If it would've lost you money, keep them the same.

Consistency over emotions. System over single trade regret.
