Ondo Launches Tokenized Portfolios Built on BlackRock Strategies
Three portfolio tokens are available on Ethereum and BNB Chain for eligible non-US investors. BlackRock supplies the models; Ondo manages the products.
Ondo Finance launched three tokenized portfolios based on strategies developed by BlackRock on Sept. 24, giving eligible non-U.S. investors exposure to baskets of securities through a single token.
The lineup comprises Ondo High Income (BLKHIon), Ondo Diversified Growth (BLKDIGon) and Ondo High Growth (BLKGRWon), each carrying the “Powered by BlackRock” name. The tokens are available on Ethereum and BNB Chain, according to Ondo’s product page.
The launch adds portfolio construction to Ondo’s existing business of tokenizing individual securities. Its Ondo Stocks catalog now advertises more than 450 tokenized stocks and ETFs. Those products leave investors to choose positions and allocations themselves; Intelligent Portfolios package a basket into one token, with smart contracts rebalancing it to preset weights on a fixed schedule, Ondo says.
