Bitcoin Holds Strong After Fed’s 25-Basis-Point Rate Hike
The U.S. Federal Reserve has raised interest rates by 25 basis points, bringing the target range to 3.75%–4.00%. This is the Fed’s first rate hike since July 2023.
What caught my attention is Bitcoin’s reaction. Despite the rate hike and continued uncertainty around U.S. crypto regulation, BTC has remained around the $76K level instead of showing a major immediate sell-off.
At the same time, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs recently recorded around $450 million in net outflows, showing that institutional flows are still something traders need to watch closely.
For me, the key question now is simple: can Bitcoin continue holding this range while the market adjusts to higher rates?
The next few sessions could be very important for BTC and the wider crypto market.
