One thing I’m watching with TermMax is how fixed-rate markets behave when volatility increases.

In a calm market, variable rates can work well.

But when demand for leverage suddenly changes, borrowing costs can move quickly and make strategies harder to manage.

A fixed-rate market offers a different framework:

You know the cost.
You know the term.
You can plan around it.

That doesn’t make the strategy risk-free, but it can make the risk easier to model.

For me, the interesting question isn’t whether fixed rates are better in every situation.

It’s whether DeFi users will increasingly value predictability alongside yield.

That could be an important direction for lending markets.
