Financial strategist Levi Rietveld has issued a serious warning to XRP holders with a note titled “It’s Over: XRP Holders You Must Prepare.” His concerns are not about short-term market swings, but the deeper cracks forming in the U.S. economy.

In just 48 days, federal debt has increased by more than one trillion dollars, which works out to an average of twenty-one billion per day. Since August 11, 2025, the figure has already climbed by another two hundred billion. This pace of expansion is alarming, especially when put alongside the reality that annual government spending now equals roughly forty-four percent of GDP. That level has only been reached in moments of historic crisis, such as World War II or the 2008 financial meltdown. July alone recorded a deficit of two hundred ninety-one billion dollars, the second-highest July on record, setting the stage for a full-year shortfall projected to exceed two trillion.

At the same time, trust in the Federal Reserve is eroding. Polls suggest that only about a third of Americans believe Chair Jerome Powell can manage the economy effectively. With new members leaning toward cutting rates, the Fed may have fewer tools left to restrain inflation. Rietveld argues that this combination of soaring debt, recurring deficits, and waning confidence in central bank leadership could place enormous pressure on the dollar and the wider fiat system.

Still, he emphasizes that none of this should be taken as financial advice. The real message is about preparation. With debt climbing, spending unchecked, and trust in institutions weakening, investors need to think carefully about diversification and resilience. For XRP holders, the path ahead may carry both danger and opportunity, but what matters most is staying informed and ready to act.
