Bitcoin (BTC) experienced a minor increase in the past 24 hours, but failed to challenge the $28,000 mark. The cryptocurrency bounced back from $27,200 and currently trades just above $27,500, with a market cap slightly below $540 billion. BTC's dominance over altcoins has risen to 49.5% on CoinMarketCap (CMC).
In contrast, Toncoin (TON) has been consistently losing value, with the latest 2.5% price decline pushing it below $2. Other altcoins, such as Ripple (XRP) and MATIC, have also experienced price losses, while Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Dogecoin (DOGE), TRON (TRX), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Shiba Inu (SHIB) are slightly in the red. On the other hand, Binance Coin (BNB), Cardano (ADA), Polkadot (DOT), Litecoin (LTC), and Chainlink (LINK) have posted small gains.
The total crypto market cap remains relatively stable at around $1.080 trillion on CMC. Notably, Aave (AAVE) and Trust Wallet Token (TWT) have seen the most significant daily gains, both increasing by 8%.
