For those asking for an actual analysis on $BTC :
Rebound at 66k and 24h candle needs to close above 68k to maintain a weekly bullish momentum or even keep the 75k ATH as a set target. Otherwise more dumps to below the 66k support would mean going even lower to 63k or even the 60k final support before a bear market (which is unlikely).
Heres your options as a trader:
safe - buy now and take profit at 68.2k (current upperbound of this levels consolidation. but also a weak resistance so theres a chance of breakthrough back to the 69k-70k consolidation zone. if that happens just buy right back in at 68.5k.)
risky - take a short position to 63k if BTC drops below the 66k line in another unexpected dump (i saw risky because this might be the dump that gets bought up quickly before a recovery pump straight back to the 68k support line)
if you bought at 70k or 71k (like me):
As a spot trader just hold because $BTC is definitely still on track to a 75k target before the ACTUAL halving dump that will be up to 30-40%. This 4-5% dump is nothing, just normal volatility levels.
If youre a futures trader i would suggest closing your trade and accepting the loss because it seems this is a repeat of last weeks scenario meaning we will be in consolidation at this level for a while before the recovery. The good news is this is a very volatile area to make good trades in between 66.3k-67.2k. theyre good change levels if youre going to enter leveraged trades and try to make a decent profit.
On the long term this correction is unexpected but good. BTC didnt have enough momentum after 5-6 failed retests of the 72k resistance zone. maybe some liquidations were needed both in longs and shorts to divert capitilization towards the required pump. also increased trading volume at these prices sets up BTC at a very strong support in this zone. meaning if BTC was to enter mid-cycle bear market, this is the lowest point it will get to. but that also means if BTC was to experience a recession up to 40% to 60k, that would also mean an 84k ATH is necessary. Its a setup for success.
