ZetaChain, a Layer-1 network, has raised $27 million to boost its chain-agnostic platform. The funding round saw participation from Blockchain.com, Human Capital, VY Capital, and others. Launched in 2021, ZetaChain aims to provide standardized interoperability between networks, enabling non-smart contract chains to interact with the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. This allows developers to implement smart contracts on networks like Bitcoin and Dogecoin. ZetaChain's platform has already seen over 27,000 dApp contracts deployed, with more than 13 million transactions performed on its testnet by over 1.7 million users.
