Is it possible for BlackRock or others to issue more than they actually have?

While they theoretically have the ability to "print" more #Bitcoin   , especially in the short term, there are significant natural forces preventing such actions.

Here's why:

Transparency on the blockchain ⇒ If they were to "print" more #BTC   , it would be visible on the public ledger, and a simple website would likely expose the flaw quickly. The community would be aware in a matter of days. ⇒ Once the community discovers this, a situation similar to a bank run would occur, putting them in a precarious position, as seen with Celsius.

Regulatory and custodial oversight: ⇒ Bitcoin spot ETFs are subject to stringent regulations from various authorities, especially given the novelty of this technology and being the first ETF of its kind. ⇒ Many large corporations are collaborating to make it happen, and they must all comply with different laws and regulations. ⇒ Audits, public questioning and reports: Would be hard to hide from.

Although a Bitcoin Spot ETF provider may have the possibility to print more #BTC    in the short term, it is not feasible.

So no! Even BlackRock can't f** with #Bitcoin   . It's digital sound money nobody can manipulate. Tick. Tock. Next Block.
