The upcoming mainnet upgrade is scheduled for Sept 1, followed by its full activation on Sept 10. This milestone brings an impressive performance boost, making the system 10x faster on the same machines and dramatically reducing processing times from 6s down to a mere 600ms.

On the development side, the DEVNET Upgrade D2.0.4.0 has been successfully shipped. We encourage everyone to jump in and help stress test the Devnet by playing various onchain games. Furthermore, API Service v1.21.0 has been released to the public. For creators utilizing the MvX Cookbook, you will now find 61 complete projects that are fully ready for agents. We are also thrilled to highlight a brand new community-built Dart SDK for MultiversX. As chronicled in our weekly #multiversxtech updates, we currently rank Top 6 in Web3 by commits, and the final stretch is clearly in sight.

Network usage recently achieved a brand new activity high, successfully processing 238K transactions in a single day. In other community news, The Cipher Season One has officially wrapped up. Turning to the latest network statistics, the broader MultiversX blockchain has now registered 9.19M accounts and processed an impressive 600M transactions, alongside 14.7M staked. Mobile and decentralized finance metrics remain remarkably strong as well. The @xPortalApp currently boasts 2.5M+ users, with 100k+ users choosing to stake $EGLD. Finally, the @xExchangeApp continues to maintain a $4.33M TVL and recently recorded a 1.57M USD 7d Volume.

The primary challenge we face is that an L1 network cannot be scaled infinitely. To resolve this limitation, execution processes are transitioned off-chain by utilizing rollups. While this is an effective workaround, it introduces a noticeable bottleneck regarding data availability. Additionally, the necessary fraud proof window extends transaction finality to approximately one week. Shifting to validity proofs presents a viable alternative to reduce that timeline, although this approach introduces a subsequent complication regarding prover costs.

We are incredibly excited to share that Battle Net has officially reached a historic milestone of 1,000,000,000 completed transactions. Alongside this monumental achievement, our live demonstration today successfully showcased an outstanding processing speed of 120,000 TPS. The future looks exceptionally bright, so get ready as Supernova is officially making its way to MultiversX.
