For many traders that doesn't know how SpaceX $SPCX works is much bigger than many traders give it credit for.
From my perspective, anyone buying now should be thinking long term rather than chasing short-term price action. The company's future revenue potential is massive, so don't be surprised if the price trades below $100 at some point. That's completely normal in the stock market.
If you believe in the long-term story, short-term volatility is just part of the journey.
Crypto markets move in cycles periods of rapid growth followed by deep corrections. In early 2026, sentiment feels bearish: Bitcoin sits near $69K after pulling back from 2025 highs, while major altcoins like Solana (SOL) and are down roughly 40–45% year-to-date. Historically, however, these pessimistic phases often set the stage for the next major rally. XRP is particularly interesting right now. Trading around $1.40–$1.60, it remains below its 2018 ATH of $3.65 but far above the $0.20 lows seen in past downturns. The big question: Could 2026 mark a cycle turn from bear to bull? What Are Crypto Market Cycles? Crypto cycles typically align with Bitcoin’s four-year halving rhythm: Accumulation, Bull Market, Distribution, Bear Market. While we appear to be in a cooling phase, catalysts like ETF approvals, regulatory clarity, and institutional adoption can accelerate a reversal. XRP’s 2026 Outlook Analysts remain mixed but increasingly optimistic. Conservative views: $2–$4 without major catalysts. Bullish scenarios: $5–$8 if ETFs, regulation, and adoption improve. Extreme upside: Higher targets depend heavily on mass institutional use. Key drivers to watch: Institutional inflows through potential XRP ETFs Regulatory progress for Ripple Expansion into real-world assets (RWAs) A broader Bitcoin recovery Technically, XRP appears to be defending previous breakout zones, suggesting $1.40 could act as strong support but regulatory setbacks or prolonged bearish conditions could keep it range-bound. XRP vs. Solana: Speed vs. Stability Solana tends to move faster due to retail hype, DeFi activity, and meme-coin ecosystems. Its cycles are explosive but volatile. SOL: High-beta asset that often rebounds quickly. XRP: Slower mover with stronger institutional narratives. If alt season returns, may surge first, but XRP could deliver steadier, more sustainable gains. XRP vs. Bitcoin: Following the Market Leader Bitcoin still dictates macro direction. Historically, alts rally after BTC strengthens. A BTC push toward new highs could lift XRP into the $4–$8 range. Unlike Bitcoin’s scarcity-driven growth, XRP’s upside relies more on adoption and utility. Expect higher volatility but also larger percentage moves. In Conclusion: Market cycles reward patience. While sentiment is uncertain, consolidation often comes before expansion. The edge belongs to investors who stay informed and think long-term because the biggest moves usually begin when conviction is quiet.
The White House just dropped the actual terms of the Venezuela oil deal.
Venezuela’s interim government is giving North American Blue Energy Partners 100-year concessions on 17 fields with about 65 billion barrels of proven reserves. That’s roughly a fifth of the country’s oil.
NABEP is already the second-largest private producer there. It’s controlled by Alejandro Betancourt and currently pumps around 200,000 barrels a day. The company says it will put up to $100 billion into new infrastructure and wants production above 1 million barrels a day.
Here’s what Washington gets, per the fact sheet:
35% equity stake in NABEP’s parent company, held by the Pentagon’s Office of Strategic Capital Right to buy 20% of output at cost First refusal on the other 80% Veto over board appointments Majority of the board has to be U.S. citizens Deal governed by U.S. law and U.S. courts
White House is calling it zero cost to taxpayers. NABEP is expected to pay about $200 billion in royalties and taxes to Venezuela over the first 25 years. Some of the fields were previously run by Chinese and Russian companies.
The part I keep circling back to is the structure. The U.S. government is taking a direct ownership stake in a private oil company operating in Venezuela, with Pentagon involvement and 100-year concessions. That’s not a normal offtake deal.
Does this actually get oil flowing fast enough to matter, or is the legal/political risk going to scare off everyone else?
🇺🇸 NOW: The US dollar has weakened for a second consecutive month as plans to accelerate Treasury debt buybacks continue to put pressure on the greenback.
$BTC continues to face strong rejection around the $81,000 level.
It looks like retail traders are still struggling to take profits at the right time, while short sellers are becoming increasingly aggressive as momentum slows.
With a new week starting tomorrow, the next move could be important.
If Bitcoin can regain momentum and break through $81K, the path toward a new all-time high could start opening up. If we could see a new ATH Bitcoin would surpass Gold $XAU
So far, there has been very little meaningful retail activity around the current $BTC lows.
That could actually be a bullish sign.
During the 2022 decline, retail repeatedly rushed in to buy what they believed was the bottom, only for price to continue falling. Several major spikes in spot activity appeared as traders tried to front-run the reversal.
By the time BTC finally reached its bottom, much of that early retail demand was already trapped underwater and had largely lost the appetite to participate in the recovery that followed.
This time feels different. Bitcoin has managed to stabilise without a major wave of retail buyers rushing in too early.
That means one of the largest groups of market participants is still sitting on the sidelines.
If BTC starts gaining momentum and the chart begins expanding higher, retail could gradually return as FOMO kicks in, adding more fuel to the next phase of the move.

A ringing thought of mine, Would Michael Saylor ever dump Bitcoin on retail again?
I still remember the criticism around whales and major players telling everyone to buy while potentially selling into the hype themselves. With $BTC moving the way it is now, I can’t help but wonder if some of the biggest holders are already thinking about taking profits.
The market feels increasingly parabolic, and when that happens, even the strongest hands can start thinking differently.
