I went back through Babylon's documentation last night because I felt like I was missing something. The first time I read it, I focused on Bitcoin staking. The second time, I found myself thinking much more about coordination than staking itself.
Babylon seems to be building an environment where developers can create BTCFi applications by using Bitcoin's security without forcing every new Bitcoin Secured Network (BSN) to solve the same integration problems independently. At least, that's how I currently understand it. The interesting part is that scaling this idea feels much harder than explaining it.
The documentation left me with more questions than answers. If more BSNs join, how difficult does coordinating security become across independent networks? What milestones would actually prove product-market fit? Is it the number of BSNs, the quality of applications, or simply whether developers keep building without incentives doing all the work?
I also kept comparing Babylon with EigenLayer. They both explore shared security, but the trust assumptions and underlying assets seem quite different. I still don't think I fully understand where those differences become most important in practice.
Another thing I don't see discussed enough is wallets. If onboarding isn't simple, even strong infrastructure may struggle to attract users. And when people talk about ecosystem health, I wonder if TVL alone tells us much. I'd rather watch developer activity, governance participation, integration quality, and operational reliability.
Curious how others interpret these trade-offs after reading the docs.@BabylonLabs_io #baby $BABY

🚨 DON'T GET TRAPPED. Bitcoin is stuck in the $62K–$64K range for a reason. History is repeating itself, everything is going exactly as I predicted: It's the same Higher Lows fractal we've seen before, and next week $BTC will dump to $50,000 once again. Bookmark this chart - you'll come back to it next week.
