Solana-based Telegram trading bot Solareum is shutting down due to insufficient funding and a recent security breach. The closure comes after a security breach in late March led to the loss of over 2,800 SOL (worth around $520,000) from more than 300 Solana users. Despite efforts to secure additional funding and adapt to market changes, the Solareum team can no longer assure user safety. The team has contacted authorities to freeze stolen funds if they reach centralized exchanges. Solana has recently attracted scammers, with one of the largest online communities devoted to a popular Solana wallet drainer kit having over 6,000 members.
