This figure came in below the projected estimate of 47.6 and represents a drop from the previous month's reading of 48.1. Similarly, the metric measuring current conditions fell to 44.7, missing both the 50.1 estimate and the 50.9 recorded in the prior month. Conversely, future expectations saw an upward trend, climbing to 47.3. This reflects a positive shift, beating out the estimated 45.7 as well as last month's 46.3.
