According to Foresight News, Bitcoin mining company Riot Platforms has released its financial report for the first quarter of 2024. The report reveals a record-breaking net profit of $211.8 million for the quarter, with earnings per share standing at $0.82. The total revenue for the period was $793 million, which includes income from mining and engineering.
The mining income accounted for $746 million of the total revenue, with the company producing 1364 Bitcoins. The average cost of mining was reported to be $23,034. The operating capital for the quarter was $692.5 million, which includes $688.5 million in cash on hand and 8490 unallocated Bitcoins.
