Around New Year 2024, I came across a referral promotion and downloaded the app. I didn’t know anything back then; I just wanted to claim the new-user rewards. I followed the instructions, invited a few more people, and then uninstalled it. I didn’t take it seriously at all. #币安七周年
By mid-2025, I heard people were getting rich in crypto, so I got curious and wanted someone to show me the ropes. I later joined a group that was kind of like a trading-signals group and followed their trades. Maybe I just made mistakes myself, but either way, I lost 100 U. That 100 U was my living money, so after losing it, I got scared and didn’t dare trade anymore.
In October 2025, someone else said crypto was in a huge bull market. I don’t know why, but I felt prices had gone too high and wanted to short. Looking back, maybe I was just lucky. I deposited another 100 U and shorted BNB and BTC with 2x leverage. When I woke up, people in the group were talking about a black swan event. I didn’t even know what that meant; I just saw that prices had fallen a lot and quickly got out. I felt incredibly relieved afterward, and even got carried away, thinking I was born lucky.
After that, I started using a lot more leverage, and ended up getting liquidated again. I stopped paying attention for a while, and then, sometime in September 2026, I realized I’d lost about 200 U in total. I heard people saying crypto was making people rich again, so this time I want to study it properly. I don’t want to rely on rumors and luck anymore.

For now, I’m planning to deposit 100 U and use dollar-cost averaging, buying when the price drops to the range I have in mind. I’ll buy a little at a time and take it slowly. I plan to increase my position up to 500 U at most, then leave it alone. Hopefully I can catch a major upward move later on.
