Kim Yo Jong denies North Korea’s involvement in Binance theft, calls U.S. accusations “absurd claims”
BlockBeats News, Nov. 3: According to the Korean Central News Agency, Kim Yo Jong, a department director of the Workers’ Party of Korea Central Committee, said that the U.S. blaming North Korea for the theft from Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, was an “absurd claim” and not the first of its kind. The FBI is trying to brand North Korea a “cybercrime state” on the grounds that a hacker group allegedly “backed” by North Korea was involved in the incident. This is a serious political provocation that misleads international public opinion and yet another grave violation of North Korea’s sovereignty. North Korea said the FBI had previously determined that the North Korea-linked hacker group TraderTraitor was responsible for the theft of more than $6 billion in assets from Binance. The current U.S. administration has announced that it will seize illicitly stolen crypto assets and use them as a national strategic reserve. It said that taking a close look at who would receive the so-called stolen cryptocurrency once recovered might offer clues as to who was behind the hacking incident.

BlockBeats News, November 2: Binance posted on social media that the platform began restoring withdrawal services in phases at 14:00 Beijing time on November 1. According to the latest available Proof of Reserves (PoR) data as of October 28, 2026, this represents 2.1% of the platform's $171 billion in total assets under management (AUM). A new PoR snapshot was generated at 08:00 on October 31, and zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) computations have begun. The updated report is expected to be published on Binance's PoR website tomorrow.

🧧🎁🌹🧧🎁🌹 10.30 Market Outlook: 1. Macro and broader market influences (highest priority) Bank of Japan (BOJ) interest rate decision + Governor’s press conference This is tomorrow’s most important macro event. Changes in yen liquidity will directly affect global risk assets, including crypto. A dovish stance would be positive for BTC/ETH and altcoins overall; a more hawkish stance could trigger volatility. Coinbase earnings Sentiment toward exchanges may be affected, potentially spilling over to exchange tokens such as BNB, OKB, and HTX, as well as the broader trading-volume narrative. BTC/ETH options expiry (a large expiry on Deribit) could amplify short-term volatility. 2. Coins to watch and potential catalysts #HYPE The positive afterglow from today’s ICE + Trade.xyz partnership news continues, with high market interest and a bullish tilt. Keep watching for further developments in the U.S. regulatory-compliance narrative. #ONDO / The official launch of DTCC’s tokenization services is supporting sentiment around RWA. Ondo’s participation in the ecosystem is neutral-to-bullish for the RWA sector. #SUI Recent developments include the integration of gold-bar token XAUa. A small unlock is scheduled for November 1; the neutral unlock volume is limited (about 0.3%). #LINK Institutional partnerships related to Chainlink and the ongoing Link:NYC event keep the institutional narrative neutral-to-bullish. #XRP , The Swell 2026 conference has just concluded. Executive outlooks and lingering conference buzz may provide support; overall sentiment is neutral. 3. Other points worth watching Polygon (MATIC/POL): Just announced that Open Money Stack is expanding to Solana, bringing an update to its payments narrative. Curve (CRV): Launched for the first time on a non-EVM chain (Stellar), adding to its cross-chain/multichain narrative. The deadline for applying for Brazil’s VASP license may affect tokens associated with local exchanges, but the impact is likely limited. Trading suggestions: Tomorrow, focus on the market’s reaction to the BOJ decision and Coinbase earnings; assess altcoins after the broader market direction becomes clear. HYPE remains the strongest narrative coin in terms of current sentiment, but it has already risen substantially, so be mindful of pullback risk. Exercise caution with tokens facing unlocks (KMNO, CARDS); they typically face selling pressure on or around the unlock date. Overall market sentiment is neutral (Fear & Greed around 51), and volatility may increase. The crypto market is extremely volatile. Bitcoin Faces a U.S. Midterm Election Test: Congressional Balance of Power Shapes Year-End Expectations, While a Democratic Sweep Could Be Worst for Crypto
BlockBeats News, Nov. 3: According to a Bloomberg Market Pulse survey, respondents’ median forecast for Bitcoin’s year-end price is $90,800 if Republicans retain control of both chambers of Congress, and $76,450 if Democrats take control of both chambers. If the two parties split control of the House and Senate, the median year-end Bitcoin price forecast is $84,100. On the policy front, TD Cowen analyst Jaret Seiberg believes that Democratic control of both chambers would be the worst-case scenario for Bitcoin and the crypto industry, potentially making the CLARITY Act difficult to pass over the next two years. Republican control of both chambers would be the most favorable outcome for advancing crypto policy, but the bill could still stall if the Republicans’ Senate majority is narrow. Prediction market data shows a 77% probability of Democrats sweeping both chambers of Congress, the outcome the market considers most likely.
🚨 OIL CRASHES MORE THAN 7% IN ONE SESSION! IS GLOBAL INFLATION PRESSURE FINALLY STARTING TO EASE?
A major market shift unfolded on November 2!
🛢️ Brent crude closed down approximately 7.6%.
📉 WTI crude closed down approximately 7.4%.
The catalyst: Iran signaled a willingness to negotiate with the United States, while Qatar-mediated diplomacy continued. Markets began reassessing Middle East energy supply risks.
But remember: Renewed diplomatic hopes do NOT mean a peace agreement has been reached.
Four key signals 👇
🛢️ ① ENERGY RISK EASES: If Gulf shipping gradually normalizes, geopolitical risk premiums in oil could decline further.
🏦 ② BONDS GET RELIEF: Lower oil prices may ease inflation concerns, but they do not guarantee central-bank rate cuts.
📊 ③ EQUITIES DIVERGE: Lower energy costs could help some businesses, while tech stocks still face valuation and AI-return concerns.
₿ ④ BTC, ETH & BNB: Crypto may respond to the dollar, interest rates and global risk appetite. Falling oil alone is not a buy signal.
THE BIG QUESTION:
Are markets correctly anticipating a peace breakthrough, or underestimating the risk of failed negotiations?
👀 Actual shipping conditions in the Strait of Hormuz 👀 Any formal U.S.–Iran agreement 👀 The 10-year Treasury yield and dollar 👀 Nasdaq and Asian equity performance 👀 BTC, ETH and BNB volume and ETF flows
The November 3 U.S. midterm elections could also influence global risk appetite.
