Sunan Abi Dawud: hadith 3503
Hakim ibn Hizam asked the Prophet ﷺ: Can I sell something that I don't actually have?
The Prophet ﷺ replied: Don't sell what you don't possess.
From this, we learn that the Prophet {PBUH} emphasized that if you don't physically control an asset, you shouldn't sell it. Back in the day, digital assets didn't exist. In futures trading, while the coin isn't in your possession, it's crucial to have an agreement or contract, so it's halal even if it's not in your hands. Just like dropshipping, where you're selling someone else's product without having it physically in your control.

If you are still stuck waiting for altcoins era, you are doing yourself no good. no one is talking about this but there is no such thing as altcoins any more.
Don't just simply wait for altcoins to rise. This term is pre-2020s used to define coins like $XLM , $XRP etc and when binance only had handful of coins listed.
Now it's more categorized and you need to look for which category is 'IN' at the moment and invest accordingly.
last week was memecoin fest, before that maybe AI coins were trending, next week might be same with coins like $AR making waves or may be Fintech coins might make a move.
Point is they are all altcoins but you won't get to see all of them pumping at same time.
Bitcoin money will flow into one category, then another and then another before it withers.
The season is already started.
