🚀 $LSK BUILD A COLUMN +186% IN A DAY: FRONT-RUN SHORT OPPORTUNITY OR KEEP RIDING THE TOP? Today’s market witnessed a wild breakout from LSK, surging up to +186.33% (hitting the $0.5446 mark). Along with that, POWR (+49.81%) and STEEM (+47.23%) also exploded. For those trading Futures, these “pump-and-inflate” coins with huge volatility are a goldmine—but also a graveyard for accounts if you’re not careful! 🚨 Trading perspective: Long side (Fomo): The momentum is very strong, but entering a buy order at the current price level (chasing the peak) is extremely risky. If you want to go Long with the trend, you MUST wait for a price pullback to nearby support zones on the M15 or H1 timeframe to get a safer entry. Short side (Ship stopper): Many people are waiting to “top-tick” LSK and POWR. However, pay extreme attention to the Funding Rate. If the Funding Rate is strongly negative, be careful—exchanges may run a “liquidity sweep” upward to wipe out the Short side before the real dump. 💡 Advice: Lower leverage to a minimum ( <10x ) and ABSOLUTELY do not place a trade without a Stoploss! One candle with movement of over ten percent can liquidate your account in the blink of an eye. 👇 Are you planning to go Long or Short on LSK and POWR? 🚨 BTC is hovering around $79K — but what should Futures traders be more afraid of than BTC dropping?
👉 It’s a leverage sweep.
Right now, BTC is in a sensitive zone as the market has just been hit by geopolitical tensions, oil prices surged, and the upcoming Fed meeting is drawing near. (Reuters)
But what I’m interested in isn’t:
❌ “Will BTC go LONG or SHORT?”
Instead, it’s:
Is OI rising or falling? Which side is funding leaning toward? Is price rising while OI is also increasing?
Futures traders should remember:
📌 Price ↑ + OI ↑ → More new positions are joining. If funding also heats up, squeeze risk increases.
📌 Price ↑ + OI ↓ → It may mainly be that existing shorts are being closed/forced out; it doesn’t necessarily mean truly strong new inflows.
📌 Price ↓ + OI ↑ → Extremely notable: new positions are being opened while price is falling.
📌 Price ↓ + OI ↓ → Likely the market is “dumping leverage.”
So don’t just open the BTC chart and ask:
“LONG or SHORT?”
Ask instead:
“Who is trapped in positions?”
That’s the real question that matters for Futures.
⚠️ Not a trading signal. This is how I read market structure.
If you trade Futures, comment “OI” — I’ll continue with another post: 3 types of OI that often appear before major BTC moves. $BTC
