By the standards of traditional financial markets,
such as P/E ratios, P/S ratios, and so on,
99% of crypto tokens really aren't worth touching.
Take a look at some of the coins Binance has listed recently,
including CT, Axis, DNA, and others.
Not one of these projects has any revenue, let alone buybacks or burns. If you value them by P/E ratios, they're all trading at hundreds or even thousands of times earnings.
There are only two points when these tokens are worth trying to trade:
1. PVP in the first few hours after the TGE 2. PVP after they’re listed on futures, if a market maker takes an interest and steps in to trade
From a rational perspective, they have no investment value whatsoever—only speculative value. And the window for speculation is extremely short, with very high demands on ordinary users. This is what they mean by licking blood off the blade, I guess.
Still, this is a good thing in a way: it forces the crypto industry to produce projects with real value, such as those in the perp sector.
Looks like Binance @binancezh @binance has really raised the bar for projects this time around. They’ve been clearing out low-quality projects very quickly lately.
685 tokens have been listed on Alpha, and 213 have already been removed. Delistings are still accelerating: 14 in September and 21 in October. They’re also cutting back on futures, delisting a batch of perpetual contracts including PTB and MITO.
At the same time, 93 Alpha tokens have been promoted to spot and futures. Of the 379 that remain, only 64 had daily trading volume above 1 million.
BULK @bulktrade has started using fees to pay traders in cash
Today is the weekly Saturday Aura Day snapshot at 9 PM Beijing time
Three things this week The new weekly Challenger Series leaderboard is out Top-ranked accounts receive League Cash directly—it’s real cash, not points A new round of the Gauntlet challenge has started, but the official rules haven’t been explained in detail yet
How do rankings work? It’s a seasonal system, with promotion and relegation every week. Rankings are based only on trading You still earn AURA from deposits and staking BulkSOL, but it doesn’t count toward your ranking According to a third-party guide, the cash prize pool is 12.5% of net weekly fees, with no cap
Background About $8 million raised, with Wintermute, Robot Ventures, and Solana founder Anatoly among the investors The co-founder said 30% of the tokens will go to the community, similar to Hyperliquid
My take Previously, you could just park your money and earn AURA. Now real money is starting to flow to traders If you only deposit and don’t trade, the rankings and cash have nothing to do with you

Metric @metricxyz doubled its TVL to $12.62 million in its first week, with $7,200 in daily protocol revenue—and it hasn’t even launched a token yet.
It started out as an aggregator and says it has routed over $5 billion across 9 chains. It’s launching on Robinhood Chain and BNB Chain in mid-October.
What’s innovative: It opens up pricing pools previously used only by market makers to everyone.
The pools don’t set prices themselves—they read external prices directly from Chainlink and Pyth. When the market moves, there’s no need to wait for arbitrageurs to rebalance LP positions, so LPs are less exposed to getting picked off.
LP liquidity is arranged in grid levels at set percentages above or below the current price. When the price moves, the grid shifts along with it, so there’s no need to withdraw and redeploy liquidity like on V3.
It works with block builders so quote updates are always ordered ahead of trades. Bots can’t get in first and trade against stale prices.
Curators can only quote prices wider than the oracle’s, and with stop-losses plus green/yellow/red ratings, retail users can feel safer entrusting their money to unfamiliar market makers.

GRVT @grvt_io has completed its first buyback: 1.1 million tokens purchased on the open market and burned directly, representing about 1% of the circulating supply.
There will be one round every month from now on. The Foundation will set the size, and an independent party will execute it. Each burn permanently reduces the total supply, with the amount and transaction hash for every round published on a dashboard.
The buyback is just the beginning. Before the end of November, GRVT plans to roll out five things to transform itself from a perpetual DEX into an investment app.
The products: 1. By the end of October: Earn, with yields of up to 11% APY. Returns come from cash flows generated by real fixed-income assets. Partner institutions will be announced on launch day. Funds stay in an account that only you can move with your private key. 2. In November: perpetuals with stable funding rates, letting users trade U.S. stocks, forex, commodities, and indices in one account, with zero fees and funding charged once a day. The year-end target is more than 1,000 markets. 3. In November: deposits in Earn can be used directly as margin, letting you earn yield while opening positions. 4. By the end of November: Grvt 2.0, with a new brand and app, plus more than 200 additional markets. The 2027 roadmap will also be announced.
Next, watch three things: the size of the monthly buybacks, how much capital Earn can attract, and whether zero-fee perpetuals can build up trading volume.

I’m still leaning cautious on crypto this week, for one reason: the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield is still hovering at 5.1%. Here’s how I see it.
If you can park your money in Treasuries and earn 5%, who’s willing to take on risk?
Last week’s CPI came in at 3.7%, and oil has climbed back to $110. Inflation hasn’t come down at all. The Fed will most likely hold rates steady this October, but hike once more before year-end. The market has pretty much accepted that.
The worst hit has been AI.
Semiconductors have fallen for eight straight days—the first time we’ve seen that since 2008. CoreWeave lost a quarter of its value in a week, and Nvidia is down 12% from its peak. People have suddenly started doing the math: a lot of the money going into computing capacity is borrowed. With rates this high, how much longer can they keep borrowing?
BTC has actually been pretty steady, trading sideways just above $80,000. But look at its recent moves—it’s basically been shadowing the Nasdaq. It’s not some kind of safe-haven asset. ETFs also saw outflows last week.
U.S. stock futures have bounced back this morning, but the Nikkei is still falling. I don’t feel comfortable calling a bottom just yet.
This week, I’m mainly watching Tesla and Meta’s earnings on Wednesday to see whether they’re still willing to keep pouring money into AI.
Also, can oil fall back below $100? Can Treasury yields drop back to 5%?
Until those two things ease up, I’ll stick to short-term trades on futures and won’t go all-in chasing longs.

Follow @0g_CN and @0G_labs, then repost and comment—that’s all Winners, DM me your name, phone number, and full address. The 0G team will ship them all out
Here are a few things about 0G that I’ve found interesting lately
Usually, when you stake coins, you get coins in return
0G has launched iAI: after staking, you get computing credits that you can use to run models every day
At the initial rate, 1 iAI gets you about $1.27 worth of credits per day. You can use them for chat, coding, or running agents
Basically, you can turn coins sitting idle in your wallet into an AI membership you can use every day
On launch day, over 3,800 iAI were minted in just 7 hours. More than 600 wallets jumped in, locking up nearly 6 million 0G
If you don’t want to mint, you can buy on the secondary market and stake instead. The daily credits are the same
Where can you use the credits? 0G’s own Private Computer
It’s already processed 400 billion tokens, with 130 models to choose from
The part I care most about is privacy
It’s not just a privacy policy asking you to trust them. Inference runs directly on sealed hardware, so even 0G can’t see what you asked
When there aren’t enough sealed nodes, it would rather return an error than secretly downgrade you to regular mode. That’s pretty rare
A few other bits and pieces
w0G is now available on Ethereum, Solana, Base, and Robinhood Comfy launched tokens on 0G with no gas fees
More than 170 launched on day one
They’ve also made a major commitment in Singapore: 20 million Singapore dollars over five years, plus research with Nanyang Technological University
