Three Years of Trading Coins: Six Major Rules for Winning Steadily

In the past three years, I have transformed my initial capital of 10,000 into 10 million. This journey has been filled with challenges and growth. Here are some key experiences that may inspire your investment path:

1️⃣ Capital management is fundamental to success
• Divide the principal into five equal parts, investing only one-fifth each time, and strictly implement a stop-loss mechanism.
• Single trade stop-loss: Loss not exceeding 10%.
• Total capital stop-loss: Control each round of losses to within 2%. Even if you make five consecutive mistakes, the total loss will not exceed 10%. However, when you seize the market opportunities, profits usually make up for or even far exceed the losses.

2️⃣ Follow the trend and avoid counter-trend trading
• Don't rush to bottom-fish: Rebounds in a downtrend are often traps to lure buyers, so wait for clear reversal signals.
• Do not exit lightly: During an upward trend, do not rush to take profits; sometimes, it is wise to wait for a higher point.

3️⃣ Stay away from coins with short-term explosive growth

Whether mainstream coins or altcoins, coins that experience explosive growth often lack follow-through and may face significant pullbacks.

4️⃣ Technical indicators are effective tools
• MACD: When the DIF and DEA lines form a golden cross below the 0 axis and cross above the 0 axis, it can be seen as a buy signal; conversely, when the death cross occurs above the 0 axis and moves down, it is a good opportunity to reduce positions or sell.
• Adding positions strategy: Only add positions when in profit, never average down in losses to avoid deeper entrenchment.

5️⃣ Trading volume is the market's barometer
• A breakout with increased volume at a low level is an important signal that the market is about to start.
• Stick to coins with an upward trading trend, observing key moving averages (such as 3-day, 30-day, 84-day, 120-day); when the moving averages turn upward, it usually signifies the establishment of a trend.

6️⃣ Review and strategy optimization
• Conduct a review after each trade, analyzing the pros and cons of your actions and correcting your strategy.
• Combine weekly K-line trends to flexibly adjust positions and operational plans.
