Jobs once said in an interview: "I really enjoy hanging out with smart people because you don’t have to worry about their pride.
"The reporter countered: "Don’t smart people have pride?
"Jobs explained: "Smart people care more about their growth, always keeping an open mind, rather than defending their ego or trying to prove they’re right.
"So, the biggest trait of those with low cognitive abilities is that they can never grasp your perspective.
You’re talking logic, they’re hearing emotion; you’re discussing structure, they’re wondering if you look down on them.
Communicating with someone with low cognition is a huge drain because you’re simply not on the same wavelength.
You’re reasoning, they’re playing the emotional card; you analyze cause and effect, they question if you’re too cold-hearted. In the end, you have to give up on the conversation.
Trying to awaken a brain that lacks self-reflection is, in itself, futile.
People with low cognition can’t distinguish between facts and opinions; they’ll conclude the world based on their emotions and biases.
