I suddenly realized that there are many NPCs in this world. Just like AI, it could be because of compute power issues—some NPCs’ emotional intelligence is far lower than “Doubao.”

Some people, through the screen, you can feel that they’re human—alive with real substance. And some people, honestly, are just NPCs. Even those kinds of subpar NPCs whose compute power is insufficient 😂

When you interact with an NPC, you’ll find that a lot of their underlying code is missing. Doing the same thing with them will make you exhausted, because their compute power is inadequate. When a compute-power warning gets triggered, the NPC goes berserk—agitated, self-consuming, and then crashes [Restarting → Restart failed → Restarting → Restart failed…].

Because NPC compute power quotas are inherently insufficient, and most NPCs are also configured with processors that are outdated and inferior—basically just placeholders. So it’s hard for NPCs to understand other things. They might be learning too, but their efficiency is so pathetic.

It’s like when your computer isn’t good, and you go on to “raise a lobster 🦞.” Your lobster doesn’t know your computer is terrible. It’s trying hard to help you solve problems—but other lobsters can tell at a glance that this one’s compute power is lacking. The thing I could finish in a few minutes takes it hours.
