🚨 AI and semiconductor stocks lost over $1T in market value this week. The real question isn't whether AI is dead. #aiandsemiconductorstocksloseover$1tthisweek It's whether the returns will justify the bill. Reuters reported that US semiconductor stocks lost approximately $1.64T in market value over six trading sessions. Three pressures are colliding: 📉Higher inflation is reviving concerns about borrowing costs. 🏗️ AI infrastructure requires enormous investment, and investors are questioning whether future cash flows will justify the spending. ⚔️ China's reported advances in memory-chip technology are raising fears of tougher competition, although the commercial impact remains uncertain. Here's the overlooked signal: US stocks recovered on Thursday, but the semiconductor sell-off continued. The market may not be rejecting AI itself. It may be repricing the companies expected to build it. And crypto isn't isolated from that shift. Bitcoin briefly fell below $80K as the technology sell-off pressured risk assets. But one distinction matters: falling chip valuations don't automatically predict Bitcoin's next move. I'd watch AI companies' cash flows, infrastructure spending, debt and the direction of broader risk appetite. Is this the beginning of an AI bubble bursting—or the market demanding proof that the investment can pay off? Not financial advice. $BTC $OP $RENDER #AIAndSemiconductorStocksLoseOver$1TThisWeek #MSCIFinalizesRulesThatCouldExcludeStrategy #AustraliaProposesCryptoTransactionReportingLaw #RussiaToBanDirectCryptoP2PTradesFromJuly2027
