During this time, I went to Yunnan. By chance, I visited Zhaotong in Yunnan and experienced the local customs and traditions. I donated a total of 11258 yuan from the rewards everyone gave me + my own 18742, making a total of 30000 to local students, teachers, and their families.
I was responsible for the students' stationery, while my friend took care of rice, flour, oil, and other essentials. This experience left me deeply shocked!
As I write this article, I still feel that fainting and dazed sensation, as if I were hit on the head with a hammer. I can't even find suitable adjectives in my limited knowledge to express it.
An eraser should cost 0.7 yuan each, a pencil 0.3 yuan each, and those exercise books we used as kids were only 0.5 yuan each. Can everyone understand that this is just our casual handling fee, a minor stop-loss, and yet it can buy so many supplies? Those little kids were so happy, and I still find it hard to forget how I felt at that moment.
