- Knife-cut noodles: made with a broth simmered for a long time using chicken stock, served with handmade fresh noodles. The soup is thick, rich, and sweet. It includes pumpkin, chicken mince, and wontons, offering a unique flavor;
- Steamed handmade dumplings: thin wrappers with lots of filling—pork and Napa cabbage—juicy and flavorful. The shape is similar to xiaolongbao, with a solid, satisfying bite;
- Korean-style mixed noodles: mildly spicy yet refreshing, with a sauce that brings out the flavor—great for whetting your appetite;
- Soy milk cold noodles: available only from April to October. Rich and not greasy, making it a popular summer choice.

In addition, the restaurant offers free refills for rice or noodles. The kimchi is also homemade—garlicky and full of aroma—perfectly complements the main dishes.

From a historical perspective, Myeongdong Kyoja has been operating since 1966, meaning it has been over half a century. It’s a classic family-run old shop beloved not only by locals, but also by many foreign tourists who come specifically for it. It has been featured as a filming location for the Korean drama “What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim” (actually: “It’s Okay, That’s Love”?)—and it has also been selected for many consecutive years in the “Bib Gourmand” of the Seoul Michelin Guide, representing the honor of “great value for money while providing quality cuisine.” Currently, there is only the original location and one branch. Daily hours are approximately 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM. During peak meal times, you often need to queue, but food comes out efficiently and the process is smooth.

2. You can never make money beyond your level of understanding. Before trading live, use a paper-trading account to train your mindset and nerves. Paper trading lets you fail infinitely, but in live trading, one major mistake could get you kicked out.
3. Remember: when good news lands, it’s often bad news. If a major good-news catalyst doesn’t trigger an exit on the same day, and the next day opens higher, it’s recommended to sell in time—otherwise you may easily get trapped.
4. Be especially cautious around holidays. History has proven again and again that reducing position before holidays— or even staying in cash entirely— is wise. “Markets must drop on holidays” isn’t just something people say.
5. The essence of a medium-to-long-term strategy is keeping enough cash, selling high and buying low, and doing rolling adjustments. Don’t always fantasize about eating it all in one wave—that’s the game of the big players, not a dream retail traders should chase.
6. For short-term trading, only choose coins with active trading volume and big chart fluctuations. If it’s not active, don’t touch it—you’ll waste time and wear down your mindset.
