$ONE Can ONE Bounce Back From the Crisis? What Happened in Harmony Today Could Reshape the Future of the Coin

Harmony (ONE) is facing one of its toughest moments after a security exploit led to the minting of nearly 4 billion ONE tokens without authorization—about 26% of the previous circulating supply. This triggered strong sell pressure and a sharp collapse in the price.

🔴 But the story isn’t over yet…

The Harmony team announced an emergency update to stop further minting, temporarily paused the bridge, and asked exchanges to freeze funds tied to the involved addresses. Most importantly, the team is currently studying Rollback options for the network to address the coins created during the exploit.

📌 Why is the Rollback important?

If the team successfully handles the minted tokens and returns the network to its pre-exploit state, trust could gradually return to the market—and we may see a strong rebound in ONE.

But if a large portion of the new tokens remains in the market, sell pressure and liquidity will continue to be key forces weighing on the price.

⚠️ So I don’t see ONE’s drop alone as a sufficient reason to buy.

The real question now isn’t:
