The options activities in the rewards center are not recommended for everyone to do.

One reason is that the rewards are too small. Many are 1.5U, 3U, and some are even 0.5U. A bit more might be 5U, and I don’t know if there are any higher than that. Another reason is that many people don’t understand options, so they can easily lose money.

Of course, if you still want to do it, you can search for @逸星web3 . He has posted a fairly detailed tutorial.

Based on his, I’ll add one more point: the buy/sell price corresponding to the strike price you see may not be real-time. If you want to do it, you must pay attention to this ❗❗❗

Click the clock at the top-right, and it will show “Your options quote will be delayed by 15 minutes.” So if you don’t currently hold an options position, or you haven’t done any options trades this month, you won’t be able to see the real-time quotes.

After you buy one options contract, you’ll be able to see the real-time quotes. If you still can’t see them, log out and back into Binance.

But there’s a problem: before doing this task, you need to choose a trade with a small spread. If you trade based on the quote from 15 minutes ago, the spread could be large. So without real-time quotes, you basically don’t know which option contract is better.

If you still want to do this task, after you buy, click the history records and you’ll be able to see the actual execution price. Trading around there is fine—though after the trade, you should be able to see the real-time quotes.

Options can only be placed as orders. The trading fees for buying and selling should both be around 0.66. Add the spread on top, and the losses add up—it’s quite costly.

In summary, I still don’t recommend doing it.

And I don’t know why Binance doesn’t just let everyone see the real-time quotes. It’s like the candlestick chart only shows 15 minutes ago, and then they let you complete a spot trading challenge—what a huge pit 🕳️
