Arbor Day: It is a holiday established by some countries to inspire people's love for forests, promote afforestation, and protect the ecological environment on which humanity relies for survival through legislation. The earliest modern Arbor Day was established in Nebraska, USA. On April 10, 1872, Julius Sterling Morton proposed the establishment of Arbor Day at a meeting of the Nebraska Horticultural Society. The state adopted Morton's suggestion, designating the third Wednesday of April as Arbor Day for the state, and in 1932 issued the world's first Arbor Day stamp, featuring two children planting trees.
