① Single-trade risk is the amount you lose when a trade hits its stop-loss, approximately equal to the position’s notional value × the percentage distance to the stop-loss.
② Position size calculated backward from the stop-loss distance is unrelated to leverage. Leverage only determines how much margin is used, but make sure the liquidation price is beyond the stop-loss.
③ After consecutive losses, you can reduce your position size or take a break. Don’t increase your position size trying to win it all back in one go.
