A large Bitcoin (BTC) investor alias a whale that has been inactive for more than 4 years has started moving again. The wallet transferred 4,500 BTC worth approximately US$378.79 million, or about Rp6.80 trillion.
According to the on-chain analytics platform Lookonchain, this movement happened a few days after another wallet transferred 4,500 BTC worth around US$381 million.
Both wallets were last active around 2022, when the price of Bitcoin was still far lower. The value of the BTC received back then is estimated to have been around US$187 million.
The movement of two whales with nearly the same amount of BTC immediately drew attention in the crypto market, especially because both became active again after years of not making any transactions.
