"In these two positions, I clearly failed at risk management—at SOON, I was taking a big position with a small margin (≈2.24 USDT) on Cross 10x, so even though the mark price only dipped slightly, my ROI quickly slid to -35%; in AIA, even without leverage (1x), I used high volume/margin to take a sufficiently large exposure, which led to a big unexpected loss with a small unfavorable move. Technically, looking at the entry price, it’s clear I was ‘chasing’ the market or taking a wrong entry (Entry > Mark), and I hadn’t set TP/SL—so a small mistake increased liquidation risk and also resulted in a larger loss. Next time: cut the position size, keep leverage low (not more than 3x), and set a stop-loss and a risk% for each trade (using at most 1–2% of capital)."#Soon
