Bitcoin (BTC) is trading around $78,393.91, down 1.62% in 24 hours and 0.61% in 7 days, based on an update dated September 8, 2026 at 06:42 UTC. Its market capitalization is about $1.57 trillion, with a 24-hour volume of $25.02 billion.
BTC has repeatedly failed to hold above $82,000. The $77,000-$78,000 area is support that many are watching, while consistent closes above $82,000 are needed for the rally to turn into a more convincing breakout.
US ETF and corporate treasury holdings remain supportive
US Spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded inflows of around $987 million over the past week, extending a positive streak for three weeks. Capital B also bought 376 BTC worth €25.3 million, bringing its holdings up to 3,521 BTC.
In addition, Strive announced plans to buy more than 1,100 BTC on September 8. This news strengthens the corporate accumulation narrative, but purchases financed through share issuance also bring dilution risk for company shareholders.#BagikanPendapatAndaTentangBTC
$79,330: the latest swing low and the nearest major support from the current price, around $79,408.
$79,585: the 78.6% Fibonacci retracement level. Losing this area makes price more likely to retest the $79,327.50 swing low.
$78,909-$79,191: a deeper support zone, containing the 200 SMA at $78,909.08 and the 200 EMA at $79,190.73. This area is important because it marks the boundary between a normal pullback and a more serious trend deterioration.
Important resistance
$79,706: the previous session pivot point. BTC is still below this level, so it is the first resistance and the key short-term bias marker.
$79,787-$80,071: the 61.8% to 38.2% Fibonacci zone, also near the 7 SMA at $79,808 and the 30 SMA at $79,867.30. Reclaiming this zone would improve the momentum structure.
$80,247-$80,531: the next resistance area, made up of the 23.6% Fibonacci level and the latest swing high at $80,530.65. Above it, the next extensions are at $80,858 and $81,274.
Bottom line: BTC’s structure is currently neutral-to-weak: price is below the pivot and short-term averages, but still above the 200 SMA. The reading becomes more constructive if BTC holds above $79,706 and then breaks through the $79,787-$80,071 area; losing $79,330 opens the risk of a test of the $78,909-$79,191 zone.#BagikanPendapatAndaTentangBTC
