Storage stocks plunge across the board—Have SanDisk and SK Hynix’s supercycles peaked?
A sharply divided night #闪迪 #海力士 At the close of U.S. trading yesterday (October 6), the market looked sharply divided: On one side, the Nasdaq and S&P 500 both hit fresh all-time highs; on the other, storage stocks plunged across the board—Seagate fell more than 9%, Western Digital and SK Hynix dropped more than 6%, and SanDisk fell more than 2%. Note: this wasn’t because of any shocking bad news. No company reported a disaster overnight. The only “bad” thing that happened was that stocks had risen too much. Here are some numbers to give you a sense of just how wild this rally has been: SanDisk (SNDK): Its share price was $115 twelve months ago and surged to a high of $2,354 this September—a gain of as much as 19-fold in a year; up about 618% year to date;
One massive BTC red candle wiped out two weeks of sideways trading
At 9 a.m. this morning, BTC plunged from around $85,500, shedding nearly $2,000 in 20 minutes. Long positions worth $400 million across the market were liquidated in an instant, and the price briefly fell below $84,000, down more than 2% on the day. ETH fared even worse, breaking below the $2,600 level and briefly falling more than 3.8% on the day. This drop didn’t come out of nowhere. Let’s look back at the past week: after the nonfarm payrolls data was released on October 2, BTC rode the momentum to $87,000. Over the following week, bulls launched three separate pushes near $86,500, $86,650, and $86,500—but all three attempts were knocked back, leaving three long upper shadows on the candlestick chart.
$BTC Held it for seven days and finally closed the position. Waiting for another chance to get back in. The bears never admit defeat—gather up quickly!

AWS will share revenue with Zhipu based on model usage. In addition to AWS, Zhipu has recently established revenue-sharing arrangements with several overseas cloud providers. Zhipu previously said it planned to add a commercially scalable business channel through revenue sharing on overseas cloud platforms. In China, Zhipu has also signed similar revenue-sharing agreements with leading cloud providers, including Alibaba Cloud’s Bailian platform. Huawei Cloud has made GLM-5.3 available and reached an agreement in principle on similar cooperation, creating a revenue-sharing network spanning both domestic and overseas markets.
$ZHIPU Goldman Sachs raised its Hong Kong stock rating for Zhipu Company from neutral to buy, with a target price of HK$1,560, representing an upside of 149% compared with the latest closing price.
