#XAUUSD PPI Pre-data shuffle: The US August PPI data will be released tonight. The intense sell-off pressure in the hours leading up to the release suggests that some shrewd long investors are taking large profits and exiting at intraday highs to hedge the risk of a more hawkish Federal Reserve rate hike driven by inflation data being stickier than expected.

At present, the market has seen three consecutive extremely long bearish candles, completely wiping out all gains made earlier in the Asian session and at the beginning of the European session. This kind of sharp high-volume selloff with no retracement from highs is a classic case of profit-taking by the main players and a big “bull stampede.” The short-term long structure has completely collapsed.

All previous long strategies must be abandoned entirely. Intraday strategy has fully shifted to: “focus on shorting rallies, and attempt very short-term trades near the key strong support below!”

The market is currently discharging bearish momentum at a very fast pace. Before US data is released, it is strictly forbidden to “catch the falling knife” and buy at the current price.

If there is no significant volume rebound before the US session, and price meets resistance when it touches the $4400–$4404 range, you may enter a short position with a small position size. Stop-loss (SL) is set at $4415, and take-profit (TP) is set at $4382–$4380.

#XAUUSD Technical Analysis: After the previous downtrend, gold successfully formed a double bottom around $4,350, then began a sideways rebound. Currently, the price is moving upward within an ascending channel, trading at $4,413.25. As the recent highs and lows gradually rise, short-term bulls are clearly in control, and the market is gradually recouping some of its earlier losses! Trading volume (VOL) has increased significantly compared with the previous few hours, showing a healthy bullish pattern where the price rises alongside higher trading volume. This suggests that major participants began accumulating positions early in the trading session and establishing long positions. In terms of execution, keep an eye on buy orders! Strategy: Buy: $4,405–$4,408 TP: $4,435–$4,440 SL: $4,393

Why would a normal transaction be refunded? $NES

#XAUUSD $The market currently appears very cautious as it awaits inflation data. Today, it is very likely to trade within a narrow range of $4,366 to $4,450. If it falls below $4,366, it would indicate that strong employment data and rate-hike expectations indirectly dominate entirely; a technical breakout is likely to occur, and the gold price will further test the $4,300 and even $4,280 deep pullback support areas. A break above $4,450 would suggest that inflation concerns or safe-haven buying have regained momentum, confirming a rebound pattern. In this case, the price would directly challenge the $4,500 level and reopen the upward channel toward $4,600–$4,700.

After #XAUUSD conducted a military strike against Iranian oil tankers in the United States, Brent crude oil prices once pushed close to the $100 mark. In the past, war escalation often directly benefited gold; however, against the backdrop of current monetary tightening, the surge in oil prices has intensified the market’s concerns about a global “reflation.” Investors have already realized that high oil prices will force the Federal Reserve to adopt a more aggressive interest-rate policy. This has led to a stronger U.S. dollar and a continued decline in gold prices. Current key support is at 4375; if this level cannot be defended, gold will keep searching for support around 4350! Short-term short positions continue to profit!

#XAUUSD $Technical Analysis: After gold touched $4,341.35 and hit a short-term support level, it rebounded in volatility. It then formed a bullish swing high above the $4,450–4,460 range, but has recently corrected downward from these highs. Price action shows that the downtrend is slowing, and it has stabilized through sideways consolidation at lower levels.

If the short-term rebound continues but fails to break through and close above $4,425 on the 1-hour chart, the bears will remain in control. The market is highly likely to break the $4,360 local support and trigger a second retest of the extremely dense support zone at $4,310–$4,305.

If the bulls are driven by news events (for example, a sudden escalation in geopolitical tensions or unexpectedly weak CPI data) and forcefully push higher, breaking through $4,425–$4,430 with strong volume, the short-term bullish setup will be restored, and the market will turn bullish directly toward the $4,473–$4,500 range.

#grvt I provided my interpretation of $GRVT and how to make your choice before July 17 (1x, 2x, 4x).

Non-linear allocation
Non-linear allocation means something like this:
1) Layer 1: from 1 point to 100 points = 50 $GRVT.
2) Layer 2: from 101 points to 1,000 points = 300 $GRVT.
3) Layer 3: from 1,001 points to 10,000 points = 4,000 $GRVT

What does this mean? It means that users with 100 points get 50 $GRVT, while users with 101 points may get 300 $GRVT. Non-linear allocation is more decentralized, but there’s a multi-address (Sybil attack) issue.

Generally speaking, these allocations reward smaller addresses and harm the whales’ interests (but that will be the team’s decision). Another advantage is that they have a maximum “hard cap” (this usually reduces whales’ allocations. Essentially, if the final layer is 100k–500k points (example), then if you have 1M points... you’ll be placed into the 100k–500k layer of users).

Imagine your final allocation is 1,000 $GRVT (normally, without boosting and without this system).
With this system (1x, 2x, 4x), it becomes:
- 250 $GRVT (at TGE).
- 500 $GRVT (after 4 months).
- 1,000 $GRVT (after 8 months).
You’ll receive 100% of what you’re owed, but you have to wait until 8 months (vesting). The tokens don’t really increase/boost. Why? Because the total supply is always the same (if there are 280 million $GRVT, this number stays constant. If everyone chooses 2x or 4x, that would mean increasing the $GRVT supply).
Other things to consider:
1) Systems like this (vesting) reduce supply at TGE (therefore price/market cap could be higher than in a scenario without vesting/boosting). Essentially, if you believe $GRVT won’t lose more than 50% within four months after TGE, then 2x allocation is fine.
2) Coinbase seems to be planning to list this token.

This mechanism is quite interesting—it’s essentially a public game.
If everyone chooses 1x, everyone is allocated according to the original point proportions, which is relatively fair.
If everyone chooses 4x, everyone’s weight increases at the same time, and the final allocation is still based on the original point proportions.

If a large number of users choose 4x, then users who stick with 1x will see their weight within the fixed pool decrease; as a result, the actual amount received could be far lower than expected.

You could call it a standard Prisoner’s Dilemma.

Based on the pre-market implied valuation of about US$300 million calculated by @Aspecta, GRVT—an exchange project with real products, institutional backing, and differentiated revenue scenarios—has an overall valuation that seems fairly reasonable.
