Start with $100, compete for 7 days, and go for the 5,000U grand prize. Predict Season 2 is here! If you’ve always thought your predictions were pretty accurate, now’s your chance to put them to the test 😂 There are 100 spots in total. Once approved, participants will receive starting capital from the platform. Experienced traders, KOLs, trading teams, and active community members will be given priority. If you want to join, include analyses you’ve done and the markets you specialize in with your application. Don’t just enter an address and wait to be picked. When it comes to prediction markets, simply guessing correctly isn’t enough. Say you think an event has an 80% chance of happening, but the market is already pricing it above 90%. Even if you get the direction right, it might not be a good trade. More than who makes the most accurate calls, I want to see how everyone chooses their prices and allocates their positions—and what they can achieve with $100. This time, manual trading, API trading, and AI assistance are all allowed. If you can write scripts, you’ll have room to show what you can do. But no matter how many tools you use, you’ll still have to decide for yourself whether a trade is worth making. Here’s one rule to check in advance: If your balance drops below $10, you can apply for a revival Each revival costs $100 out of your own pocket, with a maximum of 3 revivals Revival is not allowed on the day of the final If you’re joining for the free starting capital, don’t get carried away halfway through. You could end up spending hundreds of dollars on revivals before you even win any prize money. Registration deadline: October 18, 24:00 Competition dates: October 19–25 All times are Beijing time. Let’s see who takes home the 5,000U this season.
Binance Pool is shutting down too. It will stop operating at 3:00 p.m. on November 10 (Beijing time). If you're still mining there, switch pools in advance. Don't let your machines keep running after your shares stop counting. If you still have funds in Pool Savings, remember to redeem them as well. If you bought cloud mining power, check your order first. The announcement doesn't specify how unexpired contracts will be settled or how much you can get refunded, so be sure to ask for clarification.
I’ve personally had my assets stolen 3 times, with cumulative losses of 3WU. It’s not a huge amount, but it’s not nothing either—and being robbed feels worse than losing money.
After that, I also bought @OneKeyCN.
It all started when crypto was stolen from Ledger wallets sold by CryptoBilis. According to a Ledger statement cited by CoinDesk, at least one affected device was found to have been fitted with unauthorized hardware.
The reseller also sold OneKey products, so OneKey revoked its reseller authorization and offered free replacements to eligible buyers. OneKey says it has not received any reports of user asset losses related to this incident so far, and that the replacements are a precautionary measure.
It’s also worth paying attention to who handles a hardware wallet before it reaches you.
For large holdings, you might consider 2-of-3 multisig: keep three independent keys on separate devices, and store the backups separately too. Two signatures are required to make a transfer, so a problem with one key won’t compromise everything. Of course, you still need to verify the transaction details when using multisig—never sign blindly.
Before waiting for the POLY airdrop, first work out your trading costs. Take Polymarket’s current Crypto category as an example: buy 100 contracts at 0.50 USDC, then sell them at the same price. If both trades are market orders, the gross fee is 1.75 USDC each time, or 3.50 USDC round trip. The price doesn’t change, but your account still has less money. This example doesn’t even include the spread and slippage, and it also doesn’t deduct rebates; other markets have different fee rates, so it can’t be generalized. The easiest thing to overlook is counting an airdrop you haven’t received yet as part of your own profits in advance. A little trading loss, a little fee paid, and you think it can all be made up later. But before the reward arrives, this account is never settled. Before participating, ask yourself one question: if you end up not getting the airdrop, is this trade still worth doing?
Tibo says they’re handing out reset cards again 😂 I was just thinking of saving some quota, and then another one shows up. I can’t use it all—there’s just no way. I can barely keep up with all the quota now.
GPT quota reset again 😂 Users voted that they weren’t satisfied, so the quota gets another round. This is getting way too generous. I used to worry about running out of quota. Now I’m wondering: what else can I put it to work on? I can’t use it all up—there’s just no way to use it all up. The quota’s been topped up, but I’m running out of things to ask for.
Watching POLY’s recent moves, it feels like a token launch is getting closer and closer. Predict also posted “Soon.”, which makes things pretty interesting when you put the two together. Predict has received investment from YZi Labs (formerly Binance Labs). I’m wondering if it might try to launch before POLY and ride the current prediction market buzz. If the two projects really do launch around the same time, it’ll be interesting to see which one users and capital choose. Of course, this is just my guess, and “Soon” doesn’t necessarily mean a token launch. I hold a small amount of PP myself, so I’ll be keeping an eye on it. We’ll have to wait for the rules to come out to see how it’ll be distributed and how much the points will be worth.
Bitmine bought more. In a company announcement on October 5, it said it had added 15,112 ETH over the past week, bringing its total holdings to approximately 6.016 million ETH, or 4.9% of the total supply. About 5.067 million of those ETH have been staked. It’s now close to its 5% target. What’s worth watching next is whether it keeps buying after reaching that goal, and whether its buying pace changes. After all, new money flowing in every week has a different market impact from holding coins it already owns and earning staking rewards. That’s one way to keep track of the company going forward: focus less on which round-number milestone its total holdings have passed, and more on how much it actually adds each week. Large investors’ purchases are certainly worth noting, but don’t treat their buy orders as a promise that your own investment is protected. The Predict market on whether Coplan will mention POLY at TOKEN2049 is already live.
I’m still pretty optimistic about POLY. If it does launch a token, I think an airdrop is likely, and it would make sense to allocate some tokens to early users. Of course, it’s still unclear how they’ll distribute them or who will qualify.
Let’s see if he’ll share any more details this time.
ETH is getting another upgrade tomorrow night, but this time it’s on the Sepolia testnet. The mainnet date hasn’t been set yet.
Upgrades are obviously a good thing, but I don’t think we need to rush to link every one of them to the price. How well the technology works and whether people are willing to come in and use it, or projects are willing to stick around, are two different things.
What I’d really like to see after the upgrade is more interesting applications on-chain. Otherwise, we’ll have learned a bunch of technical jargon, but still open our wallets to find the same old projects. That gets pretty dull.
**For this round of POLY’s token preheating, I think it’s got some real substance now** After reading Matthew and Shayne’s two posts, my expectations for POLY’s token issuance have definitely increased. Especially the way they put revenue, token valuation, and TOKEN2049 together—that’s worth taking seriously. First, let’s see what Polymarket CMO Matthew posted. According to the data he released, that weekend of September 26–27, Polymarket brought in $9.9 million, while Hyperliquid brought in $2.64 million. Then, he added this on purpose: HYPE is a token worth $8.6 billion. [Original post](https://x.com/MatthewModabber/status/2106798131421782068)
After reading pPOLY’s contract and Binance Wallet and PancakeSwap’s Pre-Access announcements, I think what’s worth paying attention to this time is how Binance plans to turn “investments in unlisted companies” into a new business within a wallet.
The gameplay is similar to Alpha: users participate in activities, accumulate eligibility, and then subscribe for new assets. This time, however, what users subscribe for is a tokenized investment product related to unlisted companies.
PancakeSwap hosts the event, Binance Wallet provides the entry point, and a third party handles the underlying assets. Users subscribe within a specified period, and then allocations are made according to the rules. The official announcement also mentioned that Alpha Points, on-chain bStocks trading volume, and holdings will affect the subscription quota. [Official announcement](https://t.me/s/binance_wallet_announcements)
From Binance’s perspective, this gives Alpha points more use cases and adds motivation for users to trade and hold bStocks. People who previously focused on new on-chain tokens may now also stay in the wallet to subscribe for private placement assets.
For users, it indeed provides another investment entry point that has been difficult to access in the past. But what you get is indirect exposure, not direct equity in the underlying company. The tokens are in your own wallet, yet the underlying shares are still managed by the issuer and relevant institutions.
Whether you make money ultimately depends on whether the subscription valuation is expensive, how high the fees are, when you can sell, and how the underlying assets’ returns will be realized. Even a good company can be purchased at a high price, and simply having “Pre-IPO” in the name does not guarantee the company will go public.
pPOLY’s deployment notes suggest that related products already have on-chain activity, so it’s worth keeping an eye on. But PancakeSwap’s announcement still says, “The first project will be announced soon.” At this stage, we can’t treat these clues as official confirmation for Polymarket. [PancakeSwap announcement](https://x.com/PancakeSwap/status/2101550673661960699)
As for “so Polymarket has an IPO and the airdrop is gone,” I think that conclusion is premature. A third party building an equity product cannot determine whether Polymarket will IPO or issue tokens.
I’ll continue to watch this Pre-Access and also keep expectations for Polymarket to issue tokens. What I most want to see next are pPOLY’s official terms: what’s behind it, how much entitlement each unit represents, and how holders can exit. Only once that’s clear can we judge whether this subscription opportunity is worth participating in.
That FomoPeek about “downloading the app on your phone and filling in an invitation code to get 5U” a few days ago has issued a security warning. (The Twitter post is gone now.)
The part that really sent chills down my spine after reading it is this: even if you didn’t import your private key into that app, you could still be at risk.
According to the alerts from OKX and SlowMist, the affected version had malicious code injected. After the attack succeeds, it can break through iOS isolation mechanisms and access data from other apps. Your phone’s private keys, seed phrases, and login credentials could all be impacted.
When you look back at those promotional posts: no real-name verification required—just fill in an invitation code and do whatever for a few minutes to get paid. Some offer 5U, others 7U. The lower the barrier, the easier it is for people to drop their guard.
I found promotion records from a few bloggers, and I’ve put the evidence in the comments. Whether they knew in advance is still unclear—there’s no evidence yet. But teachers who promoted it: please spread the warning to the people who downloaded it at the time as soon as possible, especially those users you collected emails from or rewarded.
If you installed the affected version, stop using it first. Follow the warning: generate a brand-new wallet on a confirmed-clean device and transfer your assets. Don’t just delete the app and assume everything is safe.
Wanting to earn a few bucks is not wrong. The people who put malicious code into the app are the ones who should be investigated and held accountable.
Polymarket brings up DeFi again. I’ve slightly raised my expectations for token issuance, but the evidence from recent releases still isn’t enough.
Shayne’s latest announcement: former Zora CEO Jacob Horne has joined Polymarket to help improve its DeFi products. The team will also hold community meetings next, to gather feedback from long-time users.
He also admits that as the business has expanded, the on-chain product experience has declined somewhat. Some veteran users feel the team has put all its attention into the U.S. business.
What feels positive to me this time is that the team has started to respond clearly to these complaints and is investing more people to improve the product. The on-chain business continues to receive attention, and that provides a bit more support for my token issuance expectations.
After all, back in October 2025, Polymarket’s CMO publicly said there would be tokens and airdrops, while emphasizing that tokens need real utility. If they later use token incentives to boost market making, retain users, and support ecosystem development, then this path makes sense.
But those uses are still only my assumptions. Building DeFi doesn’t necessarily require issuing a platform token, and Jacob joining can’t directly be equated with a readiness to issue tokens.
Also, this original text doesn’t mention tokens, airdrops, or dates. The official Help Center page I found still says that an airdrop or token issuance plan has not been announced yet. Past verbal statements are still one step away from being formally implemented.
So I still lean toward the idea that token issuance will happen in the future—but I won’t assume it’s “coming soon” just because of this tweet. The upcoming community meeting is worth watching to see whether the team clearly outlines token utility and the issuance plan.

Today, just now, @lorenzonical updated a blog on why @unisat_wallet supports the #Alkanes protocol, written very objectively. After reading, here's a brief summary: First of all, all asset ownership is directly bound to UTXO, allowing users to send assets directly during transactions. Unlike trading various tokens on EVM where you need to first send to the contract address and then the contract address performs the next step of the transaction, Alkanes innovatively integrates the Runes protocol so that a transfer transaction can be done without calling a smart contract. This advantage is particularly important on BTC, significantly reducing costs. Additionally, because Alkanes is fully compatible with Runes' asset identification standards, the development difficulty is greatly reduced when implementing wallet and blockchain explorer functionalities, etc. What about Wasm? What is Wasm? Another important point mentioned in the article is that Alkanes has implemented a relatively usable open-source framework for smart contracts on the BTC mainnet using WebAssembly, also known as Wasm, and the completion level is very high. Many people are hearing about WebAssembly for the first time, so let me briefly introduce: Wasm is an efficient, low-level bytecode format designed for developers to run code on the Web with near-native performance. Wasm allows coding in languages like C, C++, and Rust, far surpassing traditional JavaScript in performance. It can run in various environments and operates in a sandboxed environment, compatible with the browser's security model, ensuring that code execution does not harm user devices. Meanwhile, Wasm can seamlessly cooperate with JavaScript (which I don't quite understand and need to study more). In short, WebAssembly is a technology that makes web development more efficient and powerful, compensating for JavaScript's performance shortcomings while maintaining cross-platform and security features. Lorenzo's blog is quite objective because Alkanes indeed has its drawbacks. First, there are security issues with token contracts; since it’s a new protocol, there’s no audit platform in the development environment, and users cannot determine if the token contract is safe, such as if it can be minted. Therefore, developers from the project side need to actively provide the source code. Similarly, because it uses a UTXO-based asset model, if OP_RETURN is not included during the transaction, the asset will be burned. For instance, if you transfer and treat a UTXO containing #Methane assets simply as BTC or consume it as gas, the asset cannot be recovered. Therefore, everyone must use wallets that support the protocol for asset management, and I recommend using @unisat_wallet, the best wallet in the BTC ecosystem.
Selected Projects of the Studio: Camp Network The background has been discussed a lot, just to mention that the funding is 30M, and the rest doesn't need to be understood too much. First, the test network faucet https://faucet.campnetwork.xyz requires 3 mainnet TX. For those who want to create a small account, you can withdraw from the exchange and then brush. With 1 GAS, you can manage 3 self-transfers of 3U. Now let's get to the main topic, the layer 3 tasks (the preparation on the official website will be done in the next few days, and I'll write after it's done). Enter: https://app.layer3.xyz/zh-cn/campaigns/summit-series-on-layer3… Most of the tasks inside are social tasks, and all social tasks are fake tasks. There are a few that require Minting NFTs, and I have found the hexadecimal for you. If you don’t know what hexadecimal is, then don’t bother. I forgot which corresponds to which specifically, but here are the details: 0x40d097c3000000000000000000000000+ Remove the address without 0x and transfer to 0xa0D4687483F049c53e6EC8cBCbc0332C74180168 (the NFT for the second task) 0xae873a3f transfers to 0x0b0A5B8e848b27a05D5cf45CAab72BC82dF48546 0x14f710fe transfers to 0x37Cbfa07386dD09297575e6C699fe45611AC12FE. Directly using hexadecimal transfers can be simpler, and there's no need to operate on the task page. After the transfer, just go to verify it. Now the Gamer's Grove: ScorePlay task cannot be completed for now, so it can be temporarily skipped. Finally, let's talk about why to participate? From the data of L3, it seems very tireless. In this era of technology-driven scripts, only a few thousand people have participated in a task with 30M funding. If you don’t do this, then what will you do? Participating won't lead to failure; although the bonus period has passed, putting effort into it is definitely better than working a job.
#Alkanes Recently, more and more people have been discussing the Alkanes protocol, and many newcomers have encountered some minor issues. Here are some simple answers: 1. If you did not buy using the Oly wallet, but purchased with Unisat or OKX wallets, how can you avoid burning? First, if you purchase using the Oly wallet, your payment address should be a Segwit address. After paying with a Segwit address, #METHANE $BTC or other protocol tokens will be sent to your Taproot address as shown below. This can effectively prevent your assets from being burned. Now, to the point: if you purchased with OKX or Unisat wallets using a Taproot address (which is the bc1p address), the Alkanes assets and your BTC will be in the same address. To prevent burning Alkanes assets, the best method is to do nothing. If you really need to use this BTC, then when transferring, pay close attention to the UTXO. If there is a UTXO less than 1000 sat being used, stop immediately. Because I did not import any wallet with Alkanes assets, it shows 1000 sat here, but in reality, the Alkanes asset is 546 sat. You can check your UTXO on the webpage https://unisat.io/utxo. Assets of 546 sat are generally in a locked state and will not be burned as gas, but special cases cannot be ruled out, so be careful during transfers! Currently, it is known that 4% of METHANE has been burned. Last week, Unisat said it would support the Alkanes protocol, which should be coming soon, so you can wait patiently. 2. If you don't want to sell a piece and want to split, how should you do it? Taking METHANE as an example, one piece is 10,000; if you want to sell 100, the simplest method is to initiate a transfer from the Oly wallet to your own address or another address of yours. For merging, the same rule applies; just send 20,000 to your address to merge. #BTC Currently, the overall development of the protocol is good, making steady progress without explosive growth or PVP. On the 27th, there will be representatives from the Oly project speaking at the BTC conference, which is something to look forward to. There will also be a public beta for AMM and mainnet deployment, which is very positive. If there is to be a BTC protocol emerging this year, it is 90% likely to be Alkanes.
