10X Potential Coins – A Realistic Plan for Small Portfolios
As I always say, if you have more than a $1000 portfolio, you can skip me—don’t even follow me. And if you have less than $500, this post is also not for you, because you're not an investor, you're a trader. Focus on trading.
How will we choose the coins?
I'm assuming you have $500 allocated for the upcoming Alt Season investment. So we’ll build a simple plan. We’ll choose 10 coins and invest $50 in each. Our strategy will target five narratives: Layer 1/2, AI, Gaming, RWA, and DeFi. From each narrative, we’ll pick two low market cap coins. In Shaa Allah ♥️ Today I will start sharing with analysis.
Now you may ask, why not invest all in 1 or 2 top coins with 10x potential?
Here’s the reason. These are low market cap coins. High potential means high risk. Diversifying across 10 coins reduces that risk. If one gets delisted or underperforms, it won’t be a heavy blow. Plus, if any drop by 50%, DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging) becomes easier and manageable. Later on, profits from swing trades can support your long-term investments too.
What is investor discipline?
Before you invest, understand how investors think. They buy long-term coins, store them in cold or hot wallets, and forget about them until the target is achieved. If you check your long-term bags 20 times a day, the market dips will destroy your mental peace. So, store long-term buys in a separate account. Use another for daily trading. Don’t mix them. Never check your long-term holdings repeatedly. If you do, FOMO will break your discipline—and that will affect your daily trades too.
